Designer Savannah Miller has partnered with fashion entrepreneur and brand builder Damian Hopkins to launch a new womenswear brand, called Vivere.

Founded by Miller the brand delivers affordable, high quality, modern wardrobe staples with a focus on fit and quality.  From next month it will be available via Vivere's direct to consumer website and though select John Lewis stores, including Peter Jones, and at johnlewis.com.

The brand's name is derived from the Italian verb Vivere – meaning to ‘live’, ‘be alive’, ‘last’, ‘endure’ or ‘live through – and reflects its approach of creating premium, considered collections for the woman who "wants to invest in an enduring wardrobe that transcends current shopping trends and focuses on complimenting her core style and values".

Vivere's AW23 collection focuses on elevated fabrications, directional silhouettes and a refined tonal colour palette that includes earthy green and brown hues alongside rich navy and elegant pink.

Miller and Hopkins are joined in the venture by Istanbul-based supply chain experts Duygu Leblebici and Nilufer Polat, who bring over 30 years of experience to the executive team. Susie Calvert also joins the collective as COO and Gudrun Kloepsch accompanies on design.

Savannah Miller said of the launch: “Vivere delivers wardrobe solutions for women to create a feeling of her ‘best self’ with effortless confidence, we are all very excited by this brand and the products, it's been an incredible experience working with the team on bringing this to life”

Beth Pettet, Head of Fashion Brands at John Lewis added: “We are thrilled to be the exclusive launch partner for Vivere as they launch their first to market Autumn/Winter collection. Savannah's take on the 'new smart' is sure to resonate with our customers and we look forward to adding the collection to our branded offering - bringing together new and established brands like nowhere else on the high street.”

Damian Hopkins was recently awarded the CBE for services to the industry and has had a long and successful career developing and licensing brands. He is the founder of PDS Radius Brands and an Executive Director of PDS Ltd, a global consumer driven manufacturing and sourcing platform. He complements his professional career with numerous voluntary roles.

Meanwhile Savannah Miller is a well known figure in British fashion design having graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2004. She began her career working for major names in the market, such as Alexander McQueen and Matthew Williamson, before going on to establish the Twenty8Twelve label with her sister Sienna. The sisters left the label in 2012 and Savannah went on to set up her own luxury ready to wear bridal label and has since expanded the venture into bespoke gowns.
