Rixo to open new store on Carnaby Street

Womenswear label Rixo will open a new store at 44 Carnaby Street, bringing its print-led contemporary designs to the West End.

Rixo's third permanent store on the historic Carnaby Street follows two other London stores, located on King's Road and Marlyebone High Street.

The Carnaby Street location, opening 3 November 2022, was previously home to a Rixo pop-up. Co-Founders Henrietta Rix & Orlagh McCloskey said they are "excited to return once again" to the space.

The new store is vintage inspired, capturing the atmospheric glamour of the 60's and 70's and keeping true to the brand's DNA. Just under 700 sq ft, the newest Rixo home is the first the brand has worked with a concept design company on, and the store contains features including bespoke lighting handmade in Italy and the brand’s classic leopard print transformed into a one-of-a-kind, hand tufted rug.

Fitting rooms have been designed with lounge areas in between where customers can relax and try-on amongst friends.

Speaking about the new store, Henrietta Rix & Orlagh McCloskey said: “It’s such an exciting moment to be back on Carnaby Street all these years later. Having a permanent RIXO home in this iconic London location is a huge milestone for us, and we can’t wait to open our doors to even more #humansofRIXO.”

Last month, Rixo extended its size range from UK size 6 to 24, initially debuting an edit of 32 items from the AW22 collection.
