Penfield collaborates with Neil Barrett for AW21

US outdoor brand Penfield, which was recently acquired by UK-based global licensing specialists Brand Machine Group, is collaborating with British designer Neil Barrett on a limited capsule collection for AW21.

The collection of outerwear that’s “built for travel” blends Barrett’s signature minimalist aesthetic with Penfield’s outdoor authenticity, featuring functional puffer jackets that utilise technical nylon qualities and fabric mixes to infuse design with functionality.

Lightweight, waterproof, technical jackets mix with exaggerated silhouettes, bi-colour luxury eco-shearing and high gloss trims - all finished with Neil Barrett’s signature Thunderbolt Enamel Badge.

Barrett said: "My dream for years has been to become a more inclusive brand, to offer collections to a larger audience through more democratic prices while maintaining the luxury quality for which the brand is well known. In collaborating with Penfield, we have reached this goal."
