Oh Polly reports “outstanding financial performance”

Social-first womenswear brand, Oh Polly, has reported revenues of £113 million and £11.2 million in profit before tax for the fiscal year ending April 2023.

Over the past 12 months, Oh Polly Group achieved an impressive growth rate of over 45%, thanks to its expansion in the US and Australia. These results underscore the company’s appeal to a global customer base as well as its resilience in a ‘challenging market’.

Oh Polly Group comprises three brands including Oh Polly, Bo+Tee and Neena Swim. The Glasgow-based brand was founded in 2015 by Claire Henderson. Now, in eight short years, it boasts a collective social media following of over 9 million. Operating across global hubs like Glasgow, Liverpool, London, Los Angeles, Dhaka, and Guangzhou, it employs over 350 staff in the UK and 1500 worldwide.

The company notes that this year’s growth was partly propelled by its collaboration with Love Island reality TV star Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu. This marked a milestone in the brand’s journey, increasing brand awareness to the TV show’s global fanbase. However, moving forward, Oh Polly has confirmed the mutual conclusion of its partnership with the ex-islander.

The group’s ‘exceptional’ financial performance has left it on track for a further 35% growth in the next 12 months.

Earlier this year, Oh Polly turned its focus to sustainability by joining forces with the all-electric courier Packfleet to give London-based shoppers carbon-free deliveries. With the help of Packfleet’s technology, customers within the M25 can have their clothes delivered straight to their doorsteps while following every step of their parcel’s journey.
