Net-A-Porter has partnered with the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) as the lead supporter for its new exhibition, DIVA.

Open from 24 June 2023, DIVA celebrates the "power of iconic performers to transform and inspire, and explores the intersection of women, power and creativity through the prism of performance".

Curated by Kate Bailey, Senior Curator in Theatre and Performance at the V&A, the exhibition will showcase over 250 objects, spanning fashion, photography, design, costumes, music and live performance.

The lineup will celebrate artists including Marilyn Monroe, Maria Callas, Shirley Bassey, Billie Eilish, Cher, Rihanna, Tina Turner and Elton John in an exploration of what it means to be a diva.

Alison Loehnis, Interim CEO at Yoox Net-A-Porter, said: "Net-A-Porter is always looking for new ways to champion the transformative power of fashion, and with that in mind, we are delighted to partner with the V&A in celebrating the creativity and meaningful change driven by these iconic performers through its DIVA exhibition.”

Net-A-Porter's partnership with the V&A also extends beyond the exhibition, with the retailer named as lead supporter of this year’s V&A Summer Party.

The DIVA exhibition comes ahead of a number of events at the V&A in 2023, including an exhibition dedicated to the work of French couturière Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel in September 2023.
