Naomie Harris joins forces with Omnes on accessible yet Oscar-worthy collection

Omnes, renowned for its sustainable, inclusive and accessible ethos,  is today bringing a collection of red-carpet-ready dresses – co-created with BAFTA, Golden Globe and Academy Award-nominated actress Naomie Harris OBE – to its loyal following. 

Naomie Harris is all too familiar with the search for the perfect red-carpet look, a task that inspired the debut collection. The offering takes the shape of modern occasion wear dressing, with a planet-friendly ethos in mind.

In an effort to achieve quality over quantity, the capsule is made up of four pieces made from innovative fabrics including those made from deadstock, organic cotton and recycled materials. What's more, it has been produced in London, in partnership with ethical garment manufacturer Fashion Enter.

Omnes was founded in 2020 on the basis of creating responsibly crafted fashion at a fair and attainable price point. The continues to challenge the status quo by striving for a more circular and sustainable future, which is what kickstarted its relationship with environmental justice advocate Naomie Harris.

The partnership developed organically from Naomie’s interest in the brand initially as a customer and conscious consumer.

Naomie Harris OBE, commented: "When I first discovered Omnes it felt like I had finally found a brand that perfectly aligned with and embodied my ambitions to create a sustainable, size-inclusive, and affordable red carpet capsule collection. They were the perfect partner for this collaboration not only because of their ethos but because they generously gave me creative freedom whilst providing the necessary support I needed as a first-time designer.

"Designing has been my lifelong passion, and during lockdown, I had the opportunity to indulge in it by enlisting an illustrator to bring my ideas to life. The most important aspect of clothing is how it serves a woman's body. We wanted this collection to be comfortable, confident, freeing, and bold. Omnes is a brand for every woman which is why we designed these dresses to suit all body shapes with simple cuts that still ensure women stand out through bold, vibrant colours."

The limited-edition collection of dresses is available in sizes 6-20, with prices starting from £85.
