Mytheresa and Vestiaire Collective expand into the US after Europe's launch

Luxury e-commerce platform Mytheresa and resale platform Vestiaire Collective has expanded its partnership to the US market following its initial launch in Europe last year.

The collaboration allows Mytheresa customers to use a dedicated landing page to sell their second-hand items. Customers can enter the required information and are then given a price quote for their pre-loved item.

Once the item arrives at Vestiaire Collective’s authentication centre and has undergone quality and authentication checks, customers will receive immediate payment in the form of a Mytheresa store credit.

A dedicated Mytheresa x Vestiaire Collective team will also available to support customers throughout their listing journey.

Michael Kliger, Mytheresa's CEO said in a statement: "After great success in Europe we’re excited to bring our unique and innovative partnership with Vestiaire Collective to the hugely important US market.

"The service will provide a real benefit to our loyal US customers by giving their designer pieces a second life while at the same time we fulfil our ESG commitment to drive circularity within the industry."
