M&S teams up with Jourdan Dunn for children's collection

Marks & Spencer has teamed up with British model Jourdan Dunn to create a kidswear collection that will hit stores in April. This is the second design collaboration the retailer has revealed in the past week, having just announced that style leader Alexa Chung had created a collection based based in its archive.

Called Lil' LonDunn, Dunn's collection has been inspired by her hometown and her six-year-old son Riley and reportedly has a very urban feel. Dunn's son suffers from sickle-cell anaemia blood disorder and she is hoping the collection will help raise awareness for charities whose work is involved in the genetic condition.

Riley is set to appear in the campaign to promote the 22-piece collection, aimed at children between five and 16, which hits 70 M&S stores and its website on 17 April.

“I’ve been a big fan of M&S since I was young and have fond memories visiting our local store with my mum as a kid. It’s been an absolute pleasure to work on this project with such a big British retailer, and I can’t wait to see the clothes on Riley and all his friends,” said Dunn.
