Moncler’s revenues skyrocket to a record €1.1 billion

Moncler, which also owns the luxury brand Stone Island, has reported impressive financial results for the first half of 2023, ending 30 June 2023.

Group consolidated revenues reached £973 million (€1.13 billion), this was up by 24% compared to £786.8 million (€918.4 million) in H2 of 2022.

The Moncler brand raked in £801 million (€935 million) in the first half of 2023, up by 29% year-on-year. In particular, the direct-to-consumer (DTC) channel was up by 45% year-on-year in the second quarter, driven by solid double-digit growth in all three regions.

The Stone Island brand reported revenues of £172.7 million (€201.6 million) in the first half of 2023, up by 5% compared with H2 of 2022. The second quarter was up 5% year-on-year, driven by Asia and EMEA markets.

Group EBIT stood at £186.6 million (€217.8 million) in the first half of 2023 compared with £92.7 million (€180.2 million) in the previous year. EBIT margin was down 19.2% compared to 19.6% in H1 2022, due to a different phasing of marketing expenses.

Reported net revenues for H2 stood at £124.5 million (€145.4 million).
