Manolo Blahnik unveils first men's pop-up at Harrods in London

Artisanal footwear label Manolo Blahnik has announced the opening of its first-ever men’s pop-up at the legendary department store Harrods in partnership with Kurt Geiger.

When one thinks of Blahnik's iconic footwear designs, the Haginsi pumps that made a name for themselves on the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker come to mind. However, the brand's menswear offering is just as remarkable and are being showcased in a pop-up at Harrods from today until 31 July.

The designated space, in the men's shoe department, highlights the Italian artisans who carefully handmake each and every shoe. Showcasing the core pillars of Manolo Blahnik - one of the world’s most influential footwear designers - the installation will celebrate colour, craftsmanship, creativity, and comfort.

Manolo Blahnik commented: "I simply adore Harrods, it is an iconic institution and one of London’s most recognisable landmarks. I could get lost in the store for hours!

"I have been making men’s shoes for more than 50 years and I am thrilled to have a dedicated space to present my latest men’s collection and classic designs. I can’t wait for everyone to experience the pop-up and enjoy the styles which are exclusive to Harrods."

The colourful space invites shoppers into the world of Manolo Blahnik Men's, displaying glass tables filled with artisanal tools, genuine pattern pieces and original sketches highlighting the intricacy of Blahnik’s work. In addition, a digital display screen will act as the main focal point, showcasing a reel of factory footage and detailing the making process.

‘Hero’ products have been handpicked for Harrods, which will sit on elevated colour pop shelving to complement each style. What's more, a  preview of the Autumn 2023 offering will be presented alongside more than 60 styles from the current men’s collection including six exclusive to the department store.

Kristina Blahnik, CEO of Manolo Blahnik, added: "To work with Harrods, such an iconic British institution, on our Manolo Men’s installation is incredibly exciting. Our men’s offering is a huge focus for our business, and we are deeply passionate about the growth of this category and creating awareness around our expertly crafted and timeless collections.

"To create a unique space within Harrods has been a dream of ours for some time. We wanted to use the space to showcase the craftsmanship behind our shoes handmade by our skilled artisans in Italy."
