Jones Bootmaker unveils Made in Britain collection
Jones Bootmaker has unveiled a new Made in Britain collection for AW16 which will hit stores from 1 September.
The collection features 19 options across seven styles, all of which feature disctinctive British Racing Green colour pop through "boot tabs", "eyelets" and "lace detailing". Each style is also finished with Goodyear welted leather soles. Final finishing touches include a Union Jack stamped on the leather inners and dual colour laces.
The range, which draws inspiration from British "eccentricity, quality and heritage", includes Chelsea boots, brogues (classic round-toe and a new slimmer silhouette) and loafers. The latter has also been updated with a white sole for a modern take. Prices start from £220 and sizes range from 6 to 12.
Jones Bootmaker CEO David Short said the move was "a natural progression" for the brand, whose heritage dates back 160 years. "[The range] pays homage to the brand’s British roots and celebrates a pioneering spirit reflective of the Jones Bootmaker’s early years," he added.
Jones Bootmaker was founded in 1857 and has 100 stores across the UK, as well as a webstore.
