Italian luxury label Tod’s, helmed by Walter Chiapponi, has today unveiled its 2024 Pre-Spring collection – an embodiment of quiet luxury.
Creative Director Walter Chiapponi has introduced a collection inspired by “reduction, deconstruction and reconstruction”.
As current trends continue to push 'quiet luxury' into the front seat, Tod's is taking centre stage. The brand prides itself on the clean-cut construction of shapes to showcase the quality of its materials and Italian craftsmanship. In other terms, nothing is decorative and everything is functional.
With simplicity and elegance in mind, the Pre-Spring collection blends the soft elegance of "Italian tradition" with a "contemporary lifestyle".
The leather, for which Tod's is renowned, has been reimagined into warm-toned wardrobe essentials, from biker jackets to bomber jackets. As for accessories, Tod’s spotlights its T Timeless messenger and the T Case, this time in new oversized proportions.
The shoes, as expected, take the form of moccasins, which are fundamental to the brand's DNA. This time, new details have been incorporated, such as the T Ring chain and brushed leather. Adding to the line-up, Chiapponi taps further into current trends with a natural leather ballerina pump. From head to toe, in "Tod's world, everything is understated".
