In Pictures: Sebago launches second collaboration with Drake’s
Heritage American shoe brand Sebago has collaborated for the second time with contemporary British menswear label Drake’s, this time for a AW23 collection using premium hand-picked materials.
The new collection focusses on Sebago’s ‘Campside’ silhouettes, whereas the previous summer collection, which launched back in June this year, focussed on the ‘Dockside’ silhouette.
There are three different shoe styles available in the new collection, including two versions of the ‘Campside Askook’. Crafted in two key fabric variations - patchwork suede and waxed leather - the iconic Sebago style is available in two sole options, sturdy lug or rubber.
There is also a Drake’s version of the classic Sebago ‘Cityside Dan’ Cordovan leather loafer. Additional looks include a selection of embroidered corduroy baseball caps.
Jason Fairclough, Director of Brands at Sebago UK license holder, GLD Group, said: “Following the success of Sebago’s first collaboration with Drake’s earlier this year, a second was an absolute no-brainer. The first collection focussed on our ‘Dockside’ silhouette so it was important this time to bring newness to the partnership, and what better way than with a reimagined version of our iconic ‘Campside’.
“Drake’s mirrors our ethos when it comes to expert craftsmanship and high quality products, by hand-picking the leather and patchwork suede materials for their durability and to ensure they age beautifully. The collection is inspired by the autumnal landscape of New England – where everything started for Sebago back in 1946.”
The shoes retail at £195 - £555, while the caps are £60, all now exclusively available on the Drake’s website.
