In Pictures: Patrick McDowell teams up with Lee for Spring Summer 2024
Adding to a slew of collaborations showcased on the catwalk at London Fashion Week, heritage denim brand, Lee, teamed up with British fashion designer Patrick McDowell.
Patrick McDowell's theatrically inspired ‘Tragedy of Fashion’ collection was created in collaboration with the acclaimed London dance school, Rambert. Juxtaposing the notions of elegant fluidity and movement, the designer collaborated with Lee’s durable and workwear rooted denim.
The tongue-in-cheek designer is renowned for his sustainable design practices and this season is no different. Teaming up with Lee, each garment crafted from recycled and sustainable materials. The denim used was crafted from deadstock Lee denim, unpicked and pieced together at the Patrick McDowell studio.
McDowell’s team spent over 150 hours repurposing Lee jeans into three striking looks. Standout styles included cinched jackets, padded puffball skirts, a wide sleeved trench coat and a bow adorned blazer with pearl buttons.
