French Connection has hailed its return to Manchester with a new 1,700 sq ft store in the city's Arndale Centre.

The doors of the store were opened today at Lower Unit 30 in the leading retail destination and, in keeping with the city's reputation as an important fashion centre, it features French Connection's "premium fashion buy".

Simon Donaghue, managing director for direct to consumer at French Connection said: "We are thrilled to bring French Connection to Manchester Arndale. Our new store will showcase our latest collections, allowing customers to explore our diverse range of fashion-forward clothing and accessories."

The French Connection Manchester Arndale store will feature an extensive collection for both men and women, including clothing lines, accessories, and footwear plus showcase a small amount of homeware.

French Connection

Since 2021 French Connection has been owned by MIP Holdings Ltd, a consortium comprising UK-based entrepreneurs Apinder Singh Ghura – who at the time was French Connection’s second-largest shareholder – and Amarjit Singh Grewal along with holding company KJR Brothers.

The consortium set about reviving the brand's fortunes by playing on its heritage (it was founded more than 50 years ago by entrepreneur Stephen Marks) and expanding its retail footprint.
