Sustainable swimwear brand Hunza G, renowned for its swimsuits and bikinis crafted from signature seersucker fabric, has opened its debut store in Seven Dials, Covent Garden.

Hunza G first became known during the 1980s when Julia Roberts wore its cut-out mini dress in Pretty Woman. Relaunching 30 years later, under Creative Director Georgiana Huddart, the brand welcomes in-person shopping in its very-first brick-and-mortar store.

The London-based brand is committed to creating beachwear products for all, maintaining a ‘One Size Fit’ mantra with its ultra-stretchy crinkle fabric. It also places an emphasis on sustainable creation and waste reduction, vowing to leave no deadstock material or waste.

Previously, the brand’s physical collections were only stocked within leading multi-brand stores including Selfridges, Harrods and Harvey Nichols.

The new store, located at 35-37 Monmouth Street, spans 1,583 sq ft space and is open now until the end of summer. It features the brand's signature ‘modern nostalgia’ styles across its swimwear, beachwear, and accessories collections. Shoppers are welcomed by Hunza G’s trademark pink as well as custom artwork created by London-based artist Alba Hodsoll.

Georgiana Huddart, Co-Founder and Creative Director at Hunza G, commented: "Creating a space for our customers to come and experience, in-person, who we are as a brand has been a goal since we re-launched Hunza G in 2015. The location feels perfectly aligned with us and our customers, as it’s located in the Seven Dials Covent Garden area, which is in walking distance of Hunza G HQ in Soho.

"As a brand, we are committed to our values of community, inclusivity, and ethical consumption, all of which come together to form Hunza G’s highly unique brand experience – we are hugely excited to be able to introduce this to our customers in a physical retail format for the first time."
