Hugo Boss is extending the contract of CEO Daniel Grieder, who is also Chairman of the managing board, until 31 December 2028, as it puts emphasis on "continuity" following recent success.

It is also promoting Chief Sales Officer Oliver Timm to the role of Deputy CEO, effective from 1 April 2024, and renewing the contract of CFO and COO Yves Müller until 31 December 2027.

Hermann Waldemer, Chairman of the supervisory board at Hugo Boss, said: "The current managing board team has taken Hugo Boss to a new level and is therefore primarily responsible for the company's tremendous progress in recent years.

"Under the lead of Daniel Grieder, it succeeded in positioning Hugo Boss as one of the top players in the global premium apparel market in a highly competitive environment.

"By ensuring the continuity of the managing board, we have set the course to further leverage the growth potential of Hugo Boss in the future, and we are very pleased about their continued commitment."

Daniel Grieder joined Hugo Boss as CEO in June 2021, following 16 years in lead roles at Tommy Hilfiger and PVH Europe.
