Harrods presents the Sneaker Grails Exhibition with The Edit LDN
The Edit LDN, a leading digital sneaker reseller, has joined forces with Harrods, the iconic London department store, to give sneakerheads a look into some of the most ‘hyped grails’ on the market.
The event will be taking place 3-6 August on the 2nd floor mens footwear department in Harrods, Knightsbridge.
Seeing a gap in the market for luxury in the sneaker space, The Edit LDN was established in 2020. It connects highly engaged buyers with the most premium resellers, offering authenticated items with "a focus on speed, efficiency and experience". Not only is The Edit LDN a premium marketplace for limited edition sneakers, but it is also now a place to sell and source high-end streetwear and collectables.
The Edit LDN launched a successful concession within the Kurt Geiger shoe department in Harrods in 2021. The Sneaker Grails Exhibition will showcase the synergy between high fashion, streetwear and sneaker culture. There will be a handpicked collection of rare sneakers on show, including limited editions and one-of-a-kind designs from renowned brands and celebrated designers.
The sought-after rarities displayed include Nike Air Jordan 1 Chicago 1985, Nike Air Jordan Jordan 4 Travis Scott Purple Friends & Family, Nike Air Yeezy 2 SP Red October, Nike Air Yeezy 2 NRG Solar Red and more.
The Edit LDN will also have their team on hand to educate including master authenticator, Ziya Mustafa to walk visitors through the history of each sneaker exhibited.
The global sneaker reseller market has grown into a £30bn industry and is steadily growing 5% year-on-year. Meanwhile, The Edit LDN has grown revenue by 500% every year since its launch.
