Gucci expands brand partnership with Superplastic to launch NFT and ceramic artwork
Gucci is to team with up designer toy and digital collectible company Superplastic for its latest NFT release, as the Italian luxury brand further cements its place in the digital world.
The "SuperGucci" collection is to be released in three parts, with the first drop on 1 February offering ten exclusive NFTs, each accompanied by a ceramic sculpture made in Italy.
The designs of each NFT take inspiration from Gucci’s signature design motifs that are reinterpreted on Superplastic’s virtual influencers Guggimon and Janky.

The launch also involves the Italian house's virtual concept store, Gucci Vault, which will join the metaverse with a special sale. Conceptualised by creative director Alessandro Michele, the store will present its sixth drop of pre-owned vintage Gucci pieces, which are handpicked and restored by Michele and archivists of the house.
