ASOS influencer insiders are back and better than ever

ASOS, the e-tailer home to all things fashion and beauty for 20-somethings, has relaunched its ASOS Insider influencer programme. The initiative brings together a community of influencers, who will offer customers a source of inspiration and advice across beauty and fashion via social channels.

The reintroduction of 'ASOS Insiders', which was previously wound down in 2020 due to the pandemic, is part of the struggling retailer's updated marketing strategy. This is focused on reigniting brand heat and reminding customers of the endless array of brands ASOS is home to.

36 ASOS Insiders have been selected based on their "strong sense of individual style and identity" as well as their knowledge of up-and-coming fashion trends. They will be tasked with curating top fashion picks, providing inspiration and sharing style tips with customers.

This initiative aims to build authentic connections with 20-something communities. Insiders can also support other ASOS marketing activities, such as becoming the face of campaigns.

Dan Elton, Senior Customer Director at ASOS said: "We’re so excited to be bringing back ASOS Insiders and to be giving our customers a glimpse behind the curtain at ASOS.

"As a business, we’re packed full of fashion and style enthusiasts who love the brand and love shopping on ASOS, and we think there’s no one better to help us create deep and authentic connections with our customers than our very own ASOSers."

Customers will begin to see ASOS Insiders on social channels including Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat as of this week.
