Gateshead's Metrocentre to welcome Clarks and Victoria's Secret

Property developer Sovereign Centros, part of CBRE, has announced the upcoming openings of Clarks and Victoria's Secret at the Green Mall in Gateshead's Metrocentre shopping centre.

Footwear retailer Clarks and lingerie brand Victoria’s Secret are relocating from the centre’s Lower Red Mall to the Green Mall.

The Green Mall is anchored by Marks & Spencer and will welcome a 3,619 sq ft Clarks store opposite Boots next month, and will be surrounded by the likes of Flying Tiger Copenhagen and NEXT.

The new store will follow the UK shoe retailer’s classic 'modern workshop' format, with a contemporary new look.

The interior will combine Clarks’ architectural heritage and vision for the future, combined with in-store activations, events and services, promising a multi-faceted brand experience.

The new Victoria’s Secret store will comprise 5,411 sq ft, and open later in the summer beside NEXT, joining the recently refurbished Goldsmiths and Ann Summers. The store will stock the brand’s selection of intimate apparel, beauty products, sleepwear and more.
