American athletic footwear and apparel retailer Foot Locker is to open a new 3,000 sq ft store in Touchwood shopping centre in Solihull, West Midlands, later this month.
The new unit on Jubilee Walk will offer the brand’s “latest and greatest” selection for sneaker aficionados of all ages, with footwear and clothing collections from brands including adidas, Converse and Nike. Foot Locker was founded in the US in 1974.
Commenting on the new signing, Guy Thomas, head of retail at Lendlease, said: “As one of the key global players in the sportswear sector, and at the forefront of trainer culture, Foot Locker is set to be a strong addition to the footwear line-up at Touchwood, and it will strengthen the urban retail mix within the centre.”
Touchwood is a 650,000 sq ft shopping and entertainment destination nestled in the heart of Solihull, West Midlands, comprising over 100 stores and restaurants as well as a nine‐screen cinema. Its flagship store is John Lewis, and other retailers include Zara, Apple, Tesla, Office, Hotel Chocolat, Joules, Hollister and Superdry.
