Foot Locker Europe launches basketball-inspired collection by new women’s Creative Director
Sneaker and sportswear apparel retailer Foot Locker has today announced the launch of a basketball-inspired capsule collection of apparel and accessories, designed by the new Creative Director of the brand’s women’s business, Melody Ehsani.
It is the first of several capsule collections slated to drop this year by Foot Locker Europe.
Ehsani is also the visionary and entrepreneur behind ME. – a streetwear brand specialising in jewellery, footwear and clothing “with purpose”. Ehsani's mission is to inspire other creative women to “enact change through design”.
For the new collection, she leaned on her background in streetwear and love of basketball “to design and create inspiring apparel.”

Aside from the shapewear (bra and bike shorts), 70% of the capsule is gender neutral. The collection also features a “Ball Vision” T-shirt and shorts set, a fleece crew neck top and shorts, and a tracksuit. Accessories include socks and shoelaces.
The first capsule collection drops at 8am on Thursday 10 June 2021. All pieces will be available online and at select Foot Locker stores.
