Zara has today opened a new 36,500 sq ft regional flagship store in St David’s shopping centre in Cardiff.
The store joins Zara’s line-up of recently launched global flagships, including Bluewater, Dubai, and Barcelona, which all feature the brand’s latest omni-channel format.
The St David’s store features an automated collection point for customers to make swift product collection, which will further drive footfall to the store. Self-service and dedicated refund tills are also available to help ensure “a seamless customer experience.”
Zara is the most recent opening for St David’s, with cosmetics powerhouse Morphe set to launch later this summer.
Speaking on behalf of the St David’s Partnership, Russell Loveland, Senior Portfolio Director at Landsec, said: “The launch of Zara, alongside the other international brands to have recently joined St David’s, points to an exciting future for the destination and emphasises its attraction to leading retailers. St David’s has proven its resilience over the course of the last year, and with the likes of Zara now open we continue to strengthen its offer.”
