eShopWorld appoints former M&S CMO and ex-Harrods Chief Merchant to Retail Advisory Council

Cross border e-commerce company eShopWorld has appointed former M&S CMO and Digital Officer Patrick Bousquet-Chavanne and ex-Harrods Chief Merchant Marigay McKee to its newly formed Retail Advisory Council.

The Dublin-based business said the council would help support its accelerating international growth in the beauty, luxury and fashion categories. Also joining the council are former President of Li & Fung’s Brands & Specialty Stores Group, Sean Coxall, former Li & Fung Executive Vice President, Martim Avillez Oliveira, and Gilbert W. Harrison, the Chairman of Harrison Group, Inc., a New York–based consulting and financial advisory firm.

The Retail Advisory Council will provide strategic guidance to eShopWorld and amplify the company’s cross-border e-commerce proposition globally. In addition, the group of experts will come together regularly to present their market insights and analysis of global retail trends.

Marigay McKee is co-founder and Managing Partner at Fernbrook Capital Management and actively invests in technology and consumer brands while also running MMLuxe Consulting, a consultancy she founded in 2015. McKee previously served as President of Saks Fifth Avenue and prior to that, she spent 15 years at Harrods, most recently serving as the company’s Chief Merchant.

Patrick Bousquet-Chavanne most recently served as CEO of EMAAR Malls, owner of The Dubai Mall. Prior to that, he was Chief Marketing and Digital Officer for Marks & Spencer and a Group President at The Estée Lauder Companies Inc., where he oversaw the global P&L and affairs of some of the company’s largest brands, including Estée Lauder and MAC,

Sean Coxall has over 40 years’ experience in retail, buying and worldwide sourcing. He most recently served as President of Li & Fung’s Brands & Specialty Stores Group, where he also oversaw global business development efforts. Earlier in his career, Coxall spent 18 years at Marks & Spencer.

Gilbert W. Harrison is the Chairman of Harrison Group, Inc., a New York–based consulting and financial advisory firm. He is the founder and former Chairman of Financo, from which he retired after 50 years.

Martim Avillez Oliveira is a former Li & Fung Executive Vice President with 15 years of industry experience in retail, supply chain and global sourcing, having worked with the world’s leading fashion brands and retailers.
