10 February 2020

DREST, the world's first luxury fashion gaming platform, has promoted Lisa Bridgett to the role of chief operating officer.

Bridgett joined the start-up, co-founded by former NET-A-PORTER and PORTER Editor in Chief Lucy Yeomans, in April of last year as chief marketing and commercial officer.

Prior to joining DREST, Bridgett was COO at trailblazing luxury modest fashion site, The Modist, and before that was global director of sales and marketing at NET-A-PORTER, prior to its merger with YOOX.

Throughout her career to date, Brigett has held senior roles at global fashion powerhouse Ralph Lauren and at EMI Music & Virgin Records as Global Digital Marketing Director. At the former she spearheaded the launch and scale of Ralph Lauren’s European digital marketing and e-commerce business, and at the latter she built digital marketing and distribution platforms and delivered strategic campaigns for Coldplay, Robbie Williams, The Rolling Stones among others.

Yeomans, who is Creator, Founder and Co-CEO of DREST, commented: “I am delighted to announce Lisa’s promotion - her experience and deep expertise lies in managing the complexities of luxury retail, digital consumer and technology businesses and growing them to scale - perfect for embracing the market opportunity open to DREST at this juncture.”

DREST works with luxury brands to drive engagement and sales, and attract a new generation of consumer via gaming. The platform allows players to style and create their own content, share it across their social channels or with other uses in the DREST app, and shop it.

Players are provided with a diverse line-up of avatars and the latest styles from the partner brands, along with hair, make-up, locations and backdrops. Most of the fashion assortment on the platform comes from global luxury platform Farfetch, for which DREST acts as an affiliate partner, but it also offers a curated selection of product to buy from select independent brands.

So far it has partnered with 100 brands including Burberry, Gucci, Prada, Stella McCartney and Valentino. Recently it partnered with Adidas to support the launch of its collaboration with footwear designer Tabitha Simmons.
