Diesel takes aim at Trump's wall with latest campaign
Diesel has unveiled its new ad campaign celebrating love to co-incide with Valentine's Day and it makes an unsubtle dig at President Trump's planned wall between the US and Mexico.
The Make Love Not Walls campaign is anchored by a film directed by David LaChapelle and produced in collaboration with Diesel artistic director Nicola Formichetti.
It tells the story of a group of young people breaking through a concrete wall topped with barbed wire - using a rainbow coloured tank to create a heart-shaped hole - to be together. Following lots of dancing, jumping and kissing it ends with a marriage between two men.
The diverse cast includes artists, Olympic athletes, drag queens and dancers, many of whom are part of the LGBT community.
“At Diesel, we have a strong position against hate and more than ever we want the world to know that,” said Formichetti. “Love and togetherness is crucial in creating a society we all want to live in, and the future we all deserve.”
