Comfort-focused footwear brand HeyDude, which was acquired by Crocs, Inc, in 2022, has today launched in the UK as it steps up its European expansion plan.

The brand is set to be available in 191 doors across the UK and Ireland in SS24, including 45 branches of Schuh, four select Kurt Geiger stores and 17 Paul Byron shops in Ireland.

Kelly Cortina, Senior Vice President and Global Chief Product and Merchandising Officer at HeyDude, said: "We are excited to officially launch our HeyDude brand in the UK market, introducing consumers to the same lightweight comfort and versatility that our rapidly growing US fanbase knows and loves.

"A key part of our product strategy will be building awareness for the brand and leading with our icons – the ‘Wendy’ and ‘Wally’ styles. We are confident our brand will resonate with the UK consumer and soon become a staple item in their wardrobe."

HeyDude was founded by Italian businessman Alessandro Rosano in 2008. Since being acquired by Crocs, Inc, it has become one of the fastest-growing brands in the US.

Retail prices of its men’s and women’s footwear vary between £53-£89 for its ‘Wally’ and ‘Wendy’ styles, depending on different materials used. Sneakers, mules, boots and sandals all make up the brand’s offer.
