Sustainable outerwear brand Freed launches in UK

Canadian brand Freed has confirmed it will launch its range of vegan faux-fur outerwear and accessories for the first time in the UK.

The brand's cruelty-free collections are available in vibrant colours of faux-fur, which are all ethically produced in Canada. The faux-fur range is entirely animal free, including the dyes which are 100% vegan.

Along with its range on the Freed website and platforms including Wolf and Badger and Atterley from October 2021, the brand has also partnered with My Wardrobe HQ to offer both a sales and rental option.

Founded over 100 years ago, the brand's expertise has led to the development and production of outerwear for heritage brands and major retailers globally. In 2014, Marissa Freed launched the company’s first in-house brand with a debut wool collection.

A few years later, Freed relaunched with the current collection of vegan faux-fur outerwear, accessories and home decor.

Marissa Freeds, President at Freed & Freed, commented: "We want to make a contribution to positively impact the world our kids will grow up in, whilst offering luxurious yet fun and fashionable outwear that stands out."

To coincide with the UK launch, Freed are hosting a pop-up shop in London from 14 October-21 October.
