Streetwear brand Criminal Damage has announced the released of a limited-edition 2021 collection in collaboration Nintendo’s cult favourite, Pokémon.
The launch celebrates Pokémon’s upcoming 25-year anniversary and Criminal Damage’s 30-year anniversary collectively, with the limited edition collection paying homage to some of Pokémon’s most iconic characters and symbols, including Pikachu, Charizard, Mew Two.
Since Pokémon was released in 1996, the franchise has evolved into not only one of the world’s most iconic video games, but also a vast entertainment franchise which has majorly impacted popular culture.
The 12-piece collection includes t-shirts, hoodies, and tops, combining the iconic graphics of the Pokémon universe with Criminal Damage’s signature streetwear aesthetic.
Criminal Damage’s Head of Global and E-Commerce, Alice Barat, explains: “We are so excited to collaborate with such a fantastic brand to mark two special business milestones. The collection itself is a great fusion of our urban streetwear mixed with the incredible artwork and retro feel that Pokémon is known for around the world.”
The collection will be available to shop online at Criminal Damage and selected retailers including Zalando and Truffle Shuffle from Friday 23 April, with prices starting at £35.
