Casablanca sold in corporate restructuring deal to power future growth

Casablanca Clothing Ltd, the high-end fashion brand known it colourful and exuberant fusion of luxury and leisurewear, has been acquired in a corporate restructuring deal to power its future growth.

Founded in 2018 by Charaf Tajer, the business was sold as a going concern for an undisclosed sum and will now operate under the name of Casablanca Paris Ltd, with the incumbent creative team remaining in place. The deal injects fresh capital into the brand to continue its "eye-catching growth".

With stockists including MATCHES, Harvey Nichols and Flannels in the UK as well as major luxury retailers worldwide, Casablanca is perhaps best known for its tennis-inspired leisurewear (perfectly capturing the current "tenniscore" trend) and its colourful silk shirts.

Casablanca shows its full line of ready to wear for men and women in Paris with the vibrant clothes reflecting Tajer's Moroccan and Parisian roots. Since its launch it has gained critical acclaim along with a solid celebrity following and has collaborated with a number of major global names including New Balance, Globetrotter and Bulgari.
