Canada Goose's sustainable ethos is at the heart of its new Dublin store

Performance luxury retailer Canada Goose is bringing its winter-ready styles to Ireland’s flagship shopping destination, Grafton Street.

The permanent location offers shoppers an experience that showcases the brand’s collection of performance luxury apparel while highlighting its purpose to "keep the planet cold and the people on it warm".

The Emerald Isle, home to wild coastlines and rolling green plains is the epitome of the Live in the Open ethos of Canada Goose. Outerwear, apparel, footwear, and accessories available in Dublin stays true to the Live in the Open brand ethos.

For example, the Cypress and Crofton collection, a line of lightweight down jackets, puffers and vests, is available in-store. Garments from this collection are made with 100% recycled nylon. In addition, the Kelowna Fleece Jacket and Simcoe Fleece Hoody are made with Kind Fleece, a material composed of recycled wool and bio-based fibres. These align with the brand’s Sustainable Impact Strategy, which commits to transition to 90% Preferred Fibres and Materials (PFMs) by 2025.

Located on one of Europe’s most vibrant shopping streets, the two-story space displays artwork from the Canada Goose Northern Art Collection. The collection on show in Dublin includes a custom lightbox installation by Alex Fischer that additionally acts as a selfie backdrop.

In February, Canada Goose provided a series of financial targets for the next five years and an update on its strategic business priorities, which include entering new markets and categories. The opening of its new store in Ireland is part of the brand's strategy to double its retail footprint.
