Manchester-based men’s shirt brand Blake Mill has launched a four-piece capsule collection under the banner of ‘Mind Over Matter’, with 10% of sales being donated to the mental health charity, Mind.

The shirt print designs are inspired by sources such as the drawings of neuroscientist Santiago Ramón y Cajal, through to an abstract take on Australia’s use of marijuana to treat mental health.

Ken Price, CEO of Blake Mill, said: "All of us here at Blake Mill have experience with mental health issues either personally or through family or friends. We understand the importance of the excellent work that Mind is doing in this area and are proud to support them."

Ian O’Reilly, Head of Community & Events Fundraising at Mind, added: "We are really grateful to Blake Mill for choosing to support Mind by donating a percentage of sales of their newly launched ‘Mind Over Matter’ collection of designer shirts.

"It’s a difficult time, with many of us now feeling the impact of the cost-of-living crisis on our mental health and wellbeing, especially those of us with existing mental health problems. One in four of us will experience a mental health problem in any given year, and it’s so important that no one has to face this alone."

Last month it was announced that Blake Mill has established a new advisory board which includes Anthony Cuthbertson, formerly Global Creative Director at Ted Baker, for the "next chapter in the brand’s growth story".

The new ‘Mind Over Matter’ capsule collection is now available to buy on the Blake Mill website, with shirts priced at £110 - £115.
