British heritage brand Belstaff has unveiled its latest collaboration - a 12-piece collection from actress and Belstaff brand ambassador Liv Tyler.

The collection, which is inspired by the brand's archive, includes a shearling-lined parka, leather jackets, double-breasted wool coats, a pea coat, a wool cape, ankle boots, knee boots, a handbag, slim trousers and a pussy-bow blouse. Prices range from £295 for the trousers to £1,595 for the parka.

"I wanted to express strength through the outerwear and leather pieces, and sensuality through the softer materials and more tailored silhouettes," said Tyler of the collection which she designed in partnership with Belstaff creative director Delphine Ninous.

Tyler first came to prominence as a brand ambassador for Belstaff when a film, called Falling Up, was unveiled at London Fashion Week in February starring Tyler in the role of pioneering pilot Amelia Earhart, who was also dressed by Belstaff back in the 1920s.

Belstaff has developed a reputation for its collaboration and its films and has previously worked with David Beckham.

The brand was founded in Staffordshire in 1924. It is now owned by JAB Holdings, the holding company of the billionaire German industrialists the Reimann family that also has an investment in luxury footwear brand Jimmy Choo. It has 13 stores worldwide, five of which are in the UK.

Earlier this year its CEO Gavin Haig, who joined the business from luxury group Richemont in 2014, moved its financial operations back to the UK from Switzerland and was in preparation to float the business. Haig has now "deprioritised" the float following the Brexit vote.
