Kim Kardashian’s shapewear brand Skims has released a new adaptive collection designed for customers with limited mobility.

An extension of the brand’s popular Fits Everybody collection, the new range features hook-and-eye closures on the front and side of garments for “easy access and functionality”.

The collection comprises four of the brand’s signature styles, a bralette, boy shorts, thong and briefs, featuring ultra-lightweight micro bonded construction around the fastenings, which avoids friction and remains barely visible beneath clothing.

Available in sizes XXS – 4X, prices range from £18 for a thong to £32 for the bralette.

American Paralympic track and field athlete Scout Bassett fronts Skims’ adaptive launch campaign, which launched brand’s Instagram.

The former brand ambassador for the Skims Team USA capsule collection for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games said: "When I tried these super soft pieces, the hook and eye closures made getting dressed and styling my everyday outfits so much easier.

"It’s my goal to create a more equitable and accessible world for every body, so I love working with a brand that continues to evolve and design creative solutions with the same ethos in mind."
