Heritage British lifestyle brand Barbour has promoted Paul Wilkinson to the new role of Deputy Group Managing Director and Group Commercial Director and Neil Parker as Managing Director of Global Distributors.

Wilkinson’s promotion follows his appointment earlier this year as MD of UK & Ireland alongside his role of Global Marketing & Commercial Director/MD US. He will now be responsible for all of Barbour’s sales and marketing activity globally, including the UK, Europe, US and Asia.

As a member of the executive board, and with over 10 years of experience with Barbour, Wilkinson will continue to report to Steve Buck, Group Managing Director.

Parker joins Barbour from Gant, where he was the Managing Director for APAC. Previously he was SVP for Crocs and held high-level roles at Tommy Hilfiger and Levis. He has a wealth of experience across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Steve Buck said: “Paul has done an exceptional job and has made a significant contribution to the success and growth of both Barbour and Barbour International across the UK, US and our global markets. With this promotion, Paul will drive the next exciting phase of the development of our brands and commercial operations globally.

“I am also delighted to welcome Neil who will lead the Global Distributors - where his knowledge and experience of marketplace development and brand positioning on a global scale will help us develop and grow in these important markets.”
