Mr Porter's Mr P launches golf collection

24 May 2021

Mr P, the in-house label from luxury menswear etailer Mr Porter, has launched a 23-piece, heritage-inspired golf collection.

The new range, exclusively available on the Mr Porter site, encompasses ready-to-wear, accessories and footwear and is designed to offer an alternative to technical golfwear allowing players to look stylish on and off the course.

Elements of classic tailoring along with touches of Ivy League nostalgia, such as racing stripes and varsity letters, are blended in the collection, which includes slim-fit, stretch cotton chinos, v-neck sweaters and open Johnny collar polo shirts in relaxed fits to enable movement. In addition Mr P.’s popular Derbies are reinterpreted into technical golf shoes.

Key items include: a bright yellow, cotton blend sweater; forest green and tan, logo appliquéd, merino wool cardigan; beige brown and black check golf trousers; white pebble-grain leather Kiltie Derby golf shoes; and perforated leather gloves.

“Golf has always been a consideration to explore for Mr P. as it’s a sport that blends style and camaraderie, two things we cherish at the brand. This collection was designed and produced with exactly that in mind for golf enthusiasts who are as passionate about their style as their game. Whether teeing off at noon or enjoying a post-round refreshment at the 19th hole, Mr P.’s golf collection celebrates the time-honoured pastime, while marrying a contemporary approach to golf style, on and off the course," said Mr Porter style director Olie Arnold.

To mark the launch from 24 May to 6 June, 100% of the net profits from the collection will be donated to the MR PORTER Health In Mind Fund powered by Movember, the etailer's ongoing content and fundraising initiative dedicated to helping men lead happier, healthier and more fulfilling lives.
