London-born jewellery brand, Astrid & Miyu, has launched innovative welded anklets after announcing seven new store openings late last month.

Astrid & Miyu, founded by Connie Nam, is expanding its already viral in-store services offering bracelet welding, this time introducing welded anklets.

The new anklets, which are available in 9k yellow and white gold, will first launch in the Marylebone chain – soon to be followed by the Chelsea and Soho stores. What’s more, customers can personalise their anklets with charms including initials, zodiac and birthstones. With this added touch, the brand is sure to resurface among countless TikTok For You pages.

Connie Nam, Founder & CEO of Astrid & Miyu, commented: "After many months of testing and trialling, we have launched the welded anklet service in selected Astrid & Miyu stores. This is especially exciting for us as our customers have been asking for this ever since we launched our welded bracelets so we're so pleased to be able to offer this."

Prices range from £175 to £210 and the welding appointments run for approximately 30 minutes.

This year, the contemporary jewellery brand has already opened stores in Bath and Glasgow, with new planned openings in Ireland, and London’s Spitalfields Market.

The new locations will house the brand’s complete line of stackable jewellery as well as its experiential shopping services including onsite piercings, tattoos and welding.

This follows the company’s recent expansion into international territories, opening its first store in the US as well as a pop-up in Paris. The store openings mark a huge step in Astrid & Miyu’s long-term worldwide expansion strategy, which will continue into 2023 with a second store in New York set to open next month.
