Asda designs gender-neutral kidswear with 'value, style and convenience' in mind

Little Angels, Asda’s award-winning range of baby care and food, has now expanded into George with a new, value-packed, gender-neutral kids clothing range.

Featuring bright uplifting colours combined with on trend prints and slogans, the trend-led collection aims to bring a playful offering to customers with same value that the Asda brand is famous for.

The 22-piece collection, which is available in store and online now, offers gender neutral styles for children aged three months to four years. With prices starting from as low as £2.50, the inclusive range is designed with all in mind. It includes vibrant slouchy rompers, shorts and sweatshirts.

Designed as separates and sets to mix and match with layering options the product is ultra-soft to touch with fits that are comfortable for children to easily move in.

Glenda Hansford, Buying and Design Director at George, said: "Our customers love Asda’s Little Angels products so it was a natural fit to evolve the brand into children’s clothing.

"Value, style and convenience were central to bringing this range to life, so that all our customers have access to trend led product for their children that they can pick up at the same time as their weekly shop."

This follows last week's news that George at Asda teamed up with Mattel to support The Prince’s Trust. The initiative gave 11 young people the opportunity to design limited-edition Barbie merchandise that will launch in Asda.
