Abercrombie & Fitch is getting ready to open a new store on London's Carnaby Street from 15 December.

Located at 39 Carnaby Street, the new store will offer the brand’s womenswear and menswear collections.

The space hopes to evoke a "chic hotel lobby", with omnichannel shopping capabilities to "seamlessly connect customers’ digital and in-person shopping experiences".

To further connect with local customers, the store will also include an art installation, inclusive of photography from around London.

Scott Clarke-Bryan, Managing Director at Abercrombie & Fitch EMEA, said: "We believe stores matter, and our new A&F location on Carnaby Street is another example of our commitment to the UK market.

"Located in the heart of one of the city’s busiest shopping areas, we can’t wait to offer our customers a new and welcoming A&F experience, just in time for the peak trading season."

The opening will strengthen the brand's store footprint in the UK, with existing locations in London, Edinburgh, Manchester and Ashford.

It will also join a number of fashion brands on and around Carnaby Street, including fellow Abercrombie & Fitch Co-owned brands Hollister and Gilly Hicks.

Andrew Price, Executive Director at Shaftesbury Capital, said: "We are delighted to welcome Abercrombie & Fitch’s new store to Carnaby Street, showcasing its high-quality apparel and omnichannel approach.

"The opening demonstrates Carnaby’s Street’s ongoing appeal as a vibrant, high footfall shopping destination in the heart of London’s West End."
