White Stuff teams up with Thrift+ for new resale service

26 October 2023

Fashion and lifestyle retailer White Stuff has launched a new partnership with resale platform Thrift+, offering conscious customers a way to donate and resell their unwanted garments by filling up a co-branded bag with pre-loved fashion.

Launching in-store and online, shoppers can get their hands on a co-branded Thrift+ bag to send their old clothes from any brand to Thrift+.

Customers who partake in this take-back service will be granted £10 off their next White Stuff order (over £30) once Thrift+ receives their bag.

Plus, they will gain credits when their items sell, which can be utilised to purchase other pre-loved clothes on the Thrift+ platform or donated to charity.

To mark the launch week (26 Oct – 1 Nov), White Stuff will be gifting its co-branded Thrift+ bags for free both in-store and online with every order, after which they will be available on a permanent basis at 10p per bag, with proceeds donated to the White Stuff Foundation.

Jo Jenkins, White Stuff CEO, said: "We’re excited to be announcing Thrift+ as our official re-selling partner. This is an important part of our ongoing commitment to reducing our impact on the environment, and we hope customers find it to be a really easy and rewarding way to give their old clothes a new home."

Joe Metcalfe, Thrift+ Founder, added: "We're delighted to be supporting White Stuff to offer a truly seamless fashion take-back service for their customers. This is another important step on our mission to end fashion waste."
