Vans launches new product and campaign for OTW line

Vans has launched the first products and accompanying campaign for its new top tier OTW by Vans line, which replaces Vault as the brand’s "pinnacle product".

Originally announced as a new category in June 2023, Vans has been working to bring OTW (which stands for the Vans strapline Off the Wall) to life. It is described as "a dedicated space to push the boundaries of product design and experiences",  rooted in skateboarding, art, design and music culture.

For the first season campaign, OTW by Vans has enlisted New York-based model, skateboarder and artist Efron Danzig, singer/songwriter, rapper and record producer Eyedress, Scottish singer/songwriter and TikTok star Nati, British music producer and DJ Vegyn, and key member of the Vans skateboarding team Rowan Zorilla, as ambassadors who "each embody the brand’s vision".

Ian Ginoza, VP of Creative Direction for OTW by Vans, said: "OTW by Vans is a frontier for progression, experiences and collaboration. The skateboarding mindset is core to Vans, and OTW enriches that spirit through a distinct perspective to propel culture forward."

The inaugural drop from OTW by Vans is a first-of-its-kind ‘Half Cab Reissue 33’ shoe "that redefines skateboarding’s most iconic signature shoe" with a specialised Vibram outsole and vulcanised bottom, available in three suede/mesh colourways. Accompanying the new style is the ‘Patchwork Drill Chore Coat’ and ‘Patchwork Drill Pant’ "which explores the future craft of Vans apparel design".
