Thomas Sabo, the International jewellery and watch brand, has today announced that Bernd Stadlwieser will take the helm as group CEO from January 2024.

Bernd Stadlwieser, who already played a key role in shaping the company as CEO from 2003 to 2012, will once again take over the operative management of the company. He will be taking the reigns from the current CEO Gunnar Binder.

He will be supported by Chief Operating Officer (COO) Hanno Chevalier, who as of immediately is also a member of the management board. The company's Founder, Thomas Sabo, remains chairman.

Stadlweiser was the Vice President of Sales at Swarovski from 1990-2002 before moving to the then-upcoming jewellery brand Thomas Sabo. He started as Managing Director for UK and Switzerland, moving to the position of Group CEO after two years at the company. He has since held various managerial roles at jewellery brands and is currently the Chief Strategy Officer and Board Member at Galmbou.

Thomas Sabo founded his namesake brand in 1984, strictly focusing on high-end silver jewellery. Since then, the brand has internationally made a name for itself with hand-finished creations and a growing watch segment. The company now boasts over 1,200 employees and a distribution operation that includes 70 countries, strengthened by in-house e-commerce operations.
