Luxury womenswear and lifestyle brand Temperley London has announced its new partnership with e-commerce platform Global-e, who will provide the company with international services and allow it to expand into new territories.
As part of a larger plan to evolve the brand’s direct to consumer (DTC) trading model and offer a localised shopping experience for clients globally, the partnership will enable clients to shop in their local currency and pay for customs and duty tax upfront.
With Global-e, retailers can increase international traffic conversion and grow sales by offering customers in over 200 destinations worldwide a seamless localised shopping experience.
Their end-to-end e-commerce solutions combine localisation capabilities, big-data best-practice business intelligence models, streamlined international logistics and vast cross-border experience, enabling online retailers to sell from, and to, anywhere in the world.
A spokesperson for Temperley London said: “With the everchanging marketplace we find ourselves in, and given the lack of a clear perspective with traditional offline distribution, we have decided to invest and boost our direct sales through this exciting partnership with Global-e.
“This new venture, starting on 25 May 2021, represents an exciting new chapter for the brand, allowing us to fulfil our activities efficiently and on a global scale, from managing payments and suppliers to handling customs and import taxes in each country.
“Our aim is to double our revenues through this channel and improve the overall customer experience. We’re thrilled to be making this first step in the right direction.”
