Stine Goya reveals record sales on the back of strong international performance

Stine Goya, the Danish contemporary fashion brand, has revealed sales grew 35% in FY22-23 driven primarily by a strong international performance as it invests further in the UK and US markets.

In the UK the brand, which was established by the designer of the same name in 2006, has transitioned from an agency model to in-house wholesale establishing its own London showroom, and, opening its own flagship store on Beak Street in Soho. The US wholesale market has also been taken in-house, and a separate set-up based in New York has been established.

"We are very pleased to be able to show continued significant growth and at the same time be able to make investments in our future development. With the investments, we wanted to get closer to our customers in the UK and US, which is a prerequisite for building further growth in these core markets in the short and long term," said CEO and co-owner Thomas Hertz.

The brand said its focus on collection development and increased international sales efforts, not least from the annual trade events in Paris, have also "created a positive development in Europe and Asia".

Hertz added: "We can feel how renewal in our collections, an increased presence in Paris and a great effort from our team have lifted our sales in Europe and Asia in the form of cooperation with such new key accounts as La Samaritane in Paris, Galleries Lafayette on the Champs Elysée, Breuninger in Germany as well as several new profile stores in Italy, Greece, South Korea and the Middle East."

In the UK, Stine Goya is available from its flagship store and website as well as from high profile accounts such as Selfridges, Flannels, Harvey Nichols and Liberty along with premium independents such as Wild Swans, Jules B and The Dressing Room.
