British beauty retailer Space NK has signed up with Brent Cross shopping centre landlords Hammerson for a new 1,560 sq ft boutique to open later this year.

The new store will be in mall five, which has been refigured and refreshed to ensure Brent Cross can continue to deliver its best-in-class brand mix.

Space NK CEO, Andy Lightfoot, said: “We are delighted to open our 70th UK store in Brent Cross, and bolster our growing portfolio with a prime North London location. This store will support our mission is to continue to serve the beauty obsessed with the same expertise and innovation we are renowned for.”

Space NK will bring global best-selling brands to Brent Cross, including Drunk Elephant, Hourglass and Laura Mercier, and will continue to strengthen the extensive beauty and cosmetics offering with in-store events including skincare consultations, professional treatment in the store’s beauty room, seasonal make-up masterclasses and beauty expert meet-and-greets.

Brent Cross has a 40-year history of attracting the very best brands and remains a key location for consumers. This latest asset management strategy has seen retailers on mall five such as Jaeger, LK Bennett and Monsoon proactively replaced over the past three years with brands that continue to resonate strongly with consumers, including All Saints, Guess and Anthropologie.

The first half of 2019 also saw international clothing brand Khaadi and athleisure brand North Face take space in mall five, and Waterstones will be another new addition this autumn.
