SilkFred launches AI personal shopping experience called ‘Fred’

Fashion marketplace SilkFred has just launched an AI personal shopping experience with a “recommendation engine”, called ‘Fred’, which provides shoppers with looks from over 900 independent brands based on their browsing and purchase history.

To access the tool, users simply head to the bottom right corner of SilkFred’s homepage and click on the ‘Fred’ widget. The journey into curated bespoke recommendations “to build your perfect wardrobe” will then commence.

SilkFred CEO, Emma Watkinson, said: "We understand that finding unique and stylish clothing can be overwhelming in today's fast-paced fashion world. That's why we've invested in the latest AI technology to create a seamless and personalised shopping experience for our customers to be served clothes they will love from independent brands.

SilkFred not only stocks over 900 independent fashion brands, it also has over 1,000 new styles dropping weekly across clothing and accessories. The new shopping tool will save customers’ time and inject fresh thinking into people’s baskets – based on their searches and purchases – in what is proclaimed to be “the ultimate style companion”.
