Shopping tycoon Philip Day ruffled by plucked Peacocks

The opening of Days, a department store in the south Wales town of Carmarthen, marked the first time Philip Day had created a business from scratch — and the billionaire made sure it was exactly to his tastes.
Day curated the wine list for the restaurant, including some of his favourite Spanish pinot noirs. The oenophile also envisaged listing the first vintage from his own vineyard near Valencia.
