Self-Portrait unveils Irina Shayk as face of Resort 2022 Campaign

Supermodel Irina Shayk is the latest face of Self-Portrait, fronting the London-based brand’s resort 2022 campaign.

The Russian model is the latest big name to star for the contemporary luxury label founded by Malaysian-born designer Han Chong, joining this year's lineup of supermodels Kate Moss, Bella Hadid and “Bridgerton” actress Phoebe Dynevor to help the emerging brand reach a wider audience.

Chong, who established Self-Portrait in 2013 before opening its flagship store on Albemarle Street, London, said the resort collection represents a softer and more romantic approach to dressing for the brand. The collection offers knitwear and jersey styles in relaxed silhouettes, and flattering dresses in neutral tones and vibrant hues including beige cashmere knit bralette and skirt set and the ivory guipure fitted midi dress.

“Irina has this incredible natural balance of strength and femininity — she has this infectious independence and sense of who she is, and epitomises these different sides of what it means to be a woman which I really wanted to capture with this campaign and collection,” said Chong, Self-Portrait’s founder and creative director.

“I’ve always enjoyed wearing Self-Portrait, and so it was really fun working with Han and the team on this campaign. Just like this collection, it felt natural, easy and instinctive, and I hope women enjoy wearing these clothes as much as I enjoyed shooting them,” Shayk said in a press release.
