Samuel Ross’ A-Cold-Wall* acquired by Tomorrow Ltd

British designer Samuel Ross has sold his 100% stake in A-Cold-Wall* the brand he founded in 2015, to Tomorrow Ltd.

According to an Instagram posted by A-Cold-Wall*, The London-based brand accelerator, who has been a minority investor in the streetwear brand since 2017, now owns 100% of it.

Tomorrow Ltd is a distributor-turned-brand accelerator Co-founded by Stefano Martinetto. It has invested in several emerging fashion businesses such as Martine Rose, Charles Jeffrey Loverboy, Coperni and luxury boutique Machine-A.

A statement provided read: "A-Cold-Wall* enters its next phase with sharp intentions and principles as Dr Samuel Ross MBE’s majority shareholding is acquired by Tomorrow Limited.

"A-Cold-Wall*’s core team of long-standing directors will continue to advance the brand language with Ross’ full alignment, prioritising innovation and material development."

The terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

The British designer, who was once protégé to the late Virgil Abloh, spent the early part of his career working for Donda, the creative agency founded by Ye. He made a name for himself after founding the streetwear label A-Cold-Wall* in 2015, which was seen as a commentary of the British class system.

In recent years, the brand has become known as a prolific collaborator. It has released co-branded drops with global brands such as Nike, Dr. Martens, Converse and Timberland.
